This section of the website includes a range of outputs developed by the research team in collaboration with study participants, our Learning Alliance, other key stakeholders and Nifty Fox Creative, an organisation specialising in developing engaging study outputs.
Our outputs illustrate different aspects of what we learned from the study and include key findings and recommendations for policy and practice.
Key findings from the Relations study were presented to invited policymakers, senior managers, and health and social care practitioners at two online expert events. These events were live scribed by Nifty Fox Creative.
Members of the study team presented and discussed preliminary findings via webinars. The webinars were for anyone interested in improving the treatment and care of parents who use drugs and their families.
Arts-based outputs include an animation co-produced with parents who use drugs and ‘family stories’ to illustrate learning from the family ethnography data.
A multidisciplinary practitioner workshop was also convened to discuss and respond to composite case studies from the family ethnography data. This event was live scribed by Nifty Fox Creative and includes recommendations for improving practice.
In addition, the study team presented the findings at several international and national conferences. The abstracts and presentations are accessible via the conferences link.
